Valerie and her weeks of wonder (Jires 1970)
Inspired by fairytales such as Alice and Wonderland this is a surreal movie where your lost in the obscure storyline, yet transfixed on the achingly beautiful scenes surrounding her dreams. It’s not a movie I would jump to watch again, but I love its ability to capture emotion and a state of mind.
